Get More Done with The Rootster RP10

The Rootster RP10 is designed for serious land clearing to be followed with farming or development. Its 10-foot cleaning width is the widest on the market, covering more ground in fewer passes. With 180 bolt-on teeth cutting up to 10 inches deep, it pulls roots while loosening compacted soil, acting as a subsoiler in the same pass.

As the 20-foot conveyor chain runs across heavy-duty rollers, it separates dirt from roots and returns clean soil to the field. All debris is loaded straight into a 10-yard hydraulic hopper, so there’s no need for cleanup or extra equipment. The Rootster can clear up to 2 acres per hour, saving time, labor, and fuel.

Easy to Maintain, Built to Last

Every inch of The Rootster is built for long days and hard ground. The 180 teeth are bolted on, not welded, so they can be replaced quickly without downtime. The roller bearings can be swapped for reliable operation. The high-strength steel frame is engineered to withstand repeated use and comes backed by a one-year structural warranty.

With a straightforward design and field-serviceable components, The Rootster stays in the field longer and keeps your operation moving.

How It Works

1.

Additional controls give the operator full command over rotor speed and depth, allowing for quick adjustments as field conditions change.

2.

As the tractor pulls the machine along, the front rotor digs up debris and throws it to the second rotor. The second rotor then puts it on the conveyor.

The spiral-mounted, bolt-on teeth allow for smoother operation and easy replacement.

3.

High-strength chain moves sifts out dirt and moves the debris to the hopper.

The chain can also be flipped and adjusted for maximum run-time before replacement.

Wide, high-floatation tires keep the machine stable and smooth across sandy, muddy, or rough terrain.

5.

Once full, the hydraulically-operated hopper allows the driver to dump debris with minimal effort.

Most operators find that they only have to dump the hopper every 6-10 passes.

On top of that, it comes backed by a 1-year warranty for ease-of-mind.

What You Need

The Rootster requires a capable tractor to run at full performance. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Pintle-hook hitch for safe towing
  • Three remote hydraulic lines to control rotor depth, conveyor movement, and hopper operation
  • PTO output (power take-off) to drive the rotor system (a new PTO shaft is included)
  • Around 200 horsepower to pull the machine effectively across varied terrain
